Tribal Items - Is this Old African Drum? What is it worth?

Tribal Art? Antique Appraisal - Tribal collectibles What is It? I have a tribal item that I have been seeking information about for quite some time. It looks like it could have been a ceremonial drum.The reason I say that is due to the tiny holes along the rim and the fact that the bottom is hollowed out by hand as far as i can asertain.
Appears to be handmade. African, Thailand tribal item?
Not sure what it represents.

Painting on Silk? Does it have any value?

Hummel like children painted or stamped on silk Who did this and when? Appears to be silk material with a scene of two Peasant children walking in the rain.

  • Take a real good look at the item in question. Is it in good shape? Does it show signs of wear? Look for imperfections, breaks, cracks or paint scratches and flaking.You need to know the condition of your antique so when determining a price, the condition of the object is taken into consideration.
  • Check your collectible for and marks, engravings, dates, logos marks on every area of your item and make a note of what it says so you have more details to research on the internet or in your book store and library.
  • Take a photo of your items and be sure to photograph the marks, manufacturer and any other information or details the object displays.
