Painting on silk?

What is This? Painting on silk fabric of two children


I am very curious about this piece of art work. It is a painting on fabric.It appears to be a painting on silk picturing two children under an umbrella.This was found at a yard sale years ago. Who is the artist, I cannot locate a signature anywhere. What country was it made? What is the fabric? How old is it? Does it have any value? Know where i can go to research?
The picture is mounted on cardboard and it is attached by threads sewn into the edges of the fabric and crisscrossed to hold the fabric to the cardboard. Not sure if this is original mounting.

Something i picked up in Japan, actually Okinawa, Japan in a little shop. I vaguely remember the shop owner telling me it was an ink well.
Is it? How old is it and what is it worth?

Tribal Art? Musical Instrument? Drum? - What IS IT?

Long-neck or giraffe tribal art looks to be musical instrument?
I have an item that I have been seeking information about for quite some time. It looks like it could have been a drum. The reason I say that is due to the tiny holes along the rim at the bottom.
Looks hand made. African, Thailand not sure what it represents. Details: Could be folk Art from Bali, Indonesia, Thailand Asia Africa and some other culture who practice the decoration of multiple neck rings to decorate a stretched neck. This “long-neck” or “giraffe” tribal art looks to be musical instrument, drum or headdress? This folk art Artifact looks to be hand carved, and painted at one time.
Measures approx. 2 feet tall. and is lightweight. Looks like maybe balsa wood? Looks old and used. Hand carved out of a soft wood and weight about a pound. It is a tribal Drum? Note the holes around the rim. Has small holes at the bottom all around the bottom. The bottom looks like it is hallowed out by hand.
Decorative carving of faces on the outside. Would appreciate any response or additional information you can provide. What is it? What tribe? Value pricing or a great place to research.

It appears to be a calico cat that is a bit dusty nevertheless it is a curious cat.

Looks like it is made of plaster and overlayed with thin sheets of material. What is this?
